Rose is blonde-haired and brown-eyed, stands at about 5'4", and speaks English with a Cockney accent. She starts off her adventures with the Doctor in the year 2005; but as it is, she is currently set in the year 2006, right before her first real trip with the newly regenerated Doctor (Ten) to New New York in Year 5,000,000,023. They're on their way to Barcelona (the planet), before the TARDIS ends up on the least likely of places. Her world is ours; from London, she has a single-mother Jackie, and a more-than-sort-of boyfriend, Mickey, who she is having slightly rocky relations with.
